Well as the story goes… Elizabeth was once a student of magic, below average in the looks department, short, with a flat chest, no curves and short unkempt hair, but she had an extremely useful talent in channeling the energies of magic. Unknown to most, this skill came from her familiar, a great white tiger that called itself Tigrezs. She was just short of being a sentient being is her own right. Tigrezs was the reason Elizabeth was awakened to magic in the first place.
After Elizabeth's talent started to become known to the mage community, they kept there powers hidden from the sleepers, as they were called in the modern age. some of t
"Well Tigrezs, looks like we have a lot to talk about…" The figure leaning over Tigrezs said after breathing a sigh of relief. "At least your memory appears to be okay."
"My name is… I mean I am… Tigrezs? But no I'm not or am I. My name is Tigrezs, but that does not seem right"
"Maybe you have hit your head harder then I thought. You did fall a good distance once you got free of my grip" the figure said moving out of Tigrezs view.
"I fell? But the last thing I remember was being filled with rage then waking up here, where ever here is? So what happened and who are you?" Tigrezs asked as she set up in the bed. That is when she firs
Tigrezs sat there stunned at what she was seeing. One moment she was seeing the only person that had truly cared for her shot and fallen to the ground. The next thing she remembered, Lilith's hand was on her shoulder and Tigrezs' hands where covered in the blood of someone she had never seen before. Tigrezs started to sob in Lilith's arms. Lilith kneeled down and started to stroke her head like a mother comforting a child.
"It is okay. You were not yourself," Lilith cooed is a calm voice. "You were only trying to protect me and I thank you for that." Her words filled Tigrezs with relief and her sobs became lessened.

Laurel woke up to a cramp in her wing; it felt as if her muscles were trying to force her wings open but not succeeding. As she began to yawn and take in a deep breath of the morning air she found that she was unable to pull in a full breath. Laurel felt a small gag in her mouth preventing her from breathing through her mouth yet alone say anything. As she opened her eyes all that was returned was darkness of something covering her eyes with a few small pinholes of light streaming through the darkness of her vision. As she started to panic she attempted to bring her hands up to pull wh
I lay in bed the cover thick almost crushing me as I freeze under them. I can feel the sweat on my body as I shift curling into a ball trying to make myself warmer. It is going to be one of those sick days. I lay there face to the wall on my side thinking I should call the office let them know I won't be in when I fell the weight of another person at the bottom of the bed. The weight shifts as it moves up the bed I look to see who or what it is and then I see Tigrezs' cute face in a calm yet caring smile. Her grayish white fur with its black strips is smooth as always. Her sweet blue eyes look caringly down into mine as she crawls over
Elizabeth had lived alone. She had never really known a full life with her family. Her mother died bringing her into this world, her farther died before she turned eleven and she continued to live in their cabin by herself. What Elizabeth lacked in formal training she made up for in reading. Elizabeth's father insisted she learn everything she could, and she did, with the help of all the books her father had brought home with him whenever he had gone to town. Elizabeth survived by working the fertile land around her cabin and hunting in the woods that surrounded her home in all directions. She was on her own and she liked it that way.

Lilith awoke to the sound of birds chirping and the feeling of wet morning dew on the bed of grass she had fallen asleep on. Lilith yawned and stretched as she sat up and looked around. Something was out of place. She looked around, not recognizing where she was for a moment. Then it all started to flood back in her mind. All of a sudden she realized that Tigrezs was nowhere to be seen. She heard a slight rustling in the grass like someone or something moving quietly and deliberately. Lilith stood up to get a better view of her foggy surroundings when, about fifteen feet in front of her, she saw a flash of motion as Tigrezs leapt out of s
